Introductions to Municipal Parking Lot
Using municipal parking lots
- Parking is for regular passenger cars only and not for buses and trucks.
- There are two accessible parking spaces in the Dogo Onsen Honkan eastside courtyard and one at Dogo Onsen Tsubaki-no-Yu.
- Please come to the Dogo Onsen Office to apply for free parking for those who have disabilities, when you use the one of the three Dogo Onsen outside bathhouses (Dogo Onsen Honkan, Asuka-no-Yu, Tsubaki-no-Yu). (You will be asked to show your Physical Disability Certificate, Intellectual Disability Certificate, or Mental Disability Certificate.)
1. Dogo Onsen Parking Lot

- Overnight parking fee
- 100 yen/30 minutes (from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. ) + 720 yen (from 8:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m.)
- *For overnight parking, there is no discount for bathing in the above-mentioned three Dogo Onsen Soto-yu public bathhouses).
- *Customers who bathed in the three above-mentioned bathhouses will receive free parking for the first hour by passing the parking voucher through the verification machine inside the building. Please be careful not to forget your parking voucher in your car.
- *Entry into the parking lot is only possible by turning right from the south side (The Shiki Museum side.)

Using Bicycle Parking Lot
- To protect the quaint scenery and atmosphere of the Dogo Onsen area and Soto-yu bathing culture of strolling around dressed in yukata, we ask that you please refrain from parking on sidewalks, squares, and courtyards.
- These are single use bicycle parking lots for Dogo Onsen bathers and tourists, as well as shoppers visiting the Dogo Shopping Arcade. Please do not use them for any other purpose.
- To prevent accidents, do not start your motorcycle’s engine in the bicycle parking lot.
