Feel Like a Royal! Experience the Imperial Family's Exclusive Guestrooms at the Asuka-no-yu.

The second-floor special bath of Asuka-no-Yu is modeled after a guest room reserved for the Imperial Family. While the imperial guest rooms in the Dōgo Onsen Honkan are for tours only, these rooms here in Asuka-no-Yu are actually open for visitors to take a bath.
A bath booking is available for your use. Please come and enjoy the majestic atmosphere of the baths.
※Yucho is also called "yukatabira," and is thought to have been worn by people of a certain status and was the original form of yukata.

If you want to feel like a local, this is the place for you! Tsubaki-no-Yu.

Of the three hot springs in Dōgo Onsen Area, it is especially loved by locals as a familiar hot spring. If you want to feel like one of the locals, we recommend taking a bath in the Tsubaki-no-Yu.
A time at Tsubaki-no-Yu, which is frequently used by the locals in their daily lives, will bring an extraordinary experience for you.

Make a wish on an omusubi-dama , why not visit Enman-ji Temple, a power spot for love-fulfillment!

Facing east from the Dōgo Onsen Honkan and slightly up the hill is Enman-ji Temple, a temple known as a power spot for love fulfillment.
Numerous colorful handmade balls called "omusubi-dama" are hung around the huge jizo (large statue of buddha) enshrined in front of the main hall, creating a unique atmosphere.
How about visiting this Temple, one of Dōgo's " Insta-genic spots," for the fulfillment of your love and to commemorate your trip?

Shonin-zaka slope in the Dōgo Onsen Area. At the top of the slightly steep slope is a temple called Hogon-ji Temple, which has a history of over 1,300 years and is widely known as the birthplace of Ippen Shonin, the founder of the Ji-sect of Buddhism.
This is also a place where you can feel the changes of the seasons. Starting with cherry blossoms in spring, lush green grass and trees in the early summer, large ginkgo trees that change to bright golden colors around November, and the setting sun shining through the Temple Gate....The beauty of this place is like a picture postcard and will enchant you, as a visitor.
